Waste Minimization-What is in a Plan

• Name, address and Identification Number
• General description of site operations with corresponding flow diagrams, focusing on quantity and type of hazardous wastes, raw materials and final products produced at the site
• Identification of all waste streams in the current reporting year which result from ongoing processes at the facility
• For each qualifying waste stream:

• An evaluation of source reduction measures
• Description of waste minimization measures to be implemented
• Rejection rationale of measures considered but not selected

• A time line of source reduction implementation
• Numerical goal, for overall waste minimization
